HOMEWORK AND TESTS FOR 8/18-8/22

Monday- Daily  Review (DR) p.1
Tuesday- Practice Book (PB) p.5
Wednesday- Reading Comprehension Quiz
Thursday- Spelling Test,DR 4

Math uses the Daily Review pages for student work. I would suggest that you keep these together at home and review until we take the chapter 1 test and then dispose of.

Reading- There is not much you can do to help study for these quizzes. I will be teaching different reading comprehension strategies each week.

Spelling- The spelling words are written in your child's assignment book.  The tests will generally be on Thursdays.

Please note: The  students can take their textbooks home to help assist with their studies. I especially encourage this with Math and Science. We will begin with chapter 1 in both math and science.
